Been well over 7 months since I had to use my 4wd and here is my question. Today it snowed a little so I put on 4wd. Whenever I turn, it feels stiffer and I can hear a little jerking noise from the tires. Suppose to happen?

Yea, it'll feel stiffer going around bends in 4WD. Remember in 4WD the front and rear driveshafts are locked (assuning you have part time 4WD). The jerking noise from the tires is probably the tires jumping cause they're trying to travel different distances but are locked together and forced to travel the same distance.
