 Subject: Stock wheels

I just bought a 1992 2wd Dakota. It came with aftermarket wheels. It is 6 lug bolt pattern. Did Dodge change anything about the bolt part, wheels, etc? OK, my questions really is, can I put a set of 2002 or 2003 Dakota wheels on my 92?

yes. I believe that after '91 all dakota wheels are 6 lug with the same pattern.

You should. I have 01 wheels but with some trucks(not all for some reason) you may have to grind on the upper control arm.
K&N, '01 wheels, Window Tint, Harley-Davidson badging, red underbody kit, ext.

can't answer the question about 2wd wheels but i put a set of gen 3 (97 and up )wheels on my gen 2 (96) 4x4 and the bolt patern was the same....only thing is though, we have bigger rotors than gen 3 trucks and i had to grind the caliper hose retainer bolt down about half to keep it from rubbing on the inside edge of the wheel. Hope this helps.

Mines a 2wd and I've heard of R/T wheels going on GenIIs so your fine. Lug pattern changed in 92 I believe.

I'm trying to get rid of some 15x7's off of a 2000.....anyone interested? tires still mounted, only run for about 8000 miles.
