just be sure to scuff the surface up really well and spray on a adhesion promoter first.
i painted my metal bumper with Dupli-Color #359 Intense Blue Pearl and it turned out great. I also painted my mirrors and dash.

Message: I'm talking about the thick rock chip protection paint they usually use on the lower part of door and fender panels. Its textured. I have lots of rock chips in the plastic (truck is white) and the black is showing through.

Message: yeah i understood that. My second comment was for the other guy(s).
you will need a adhesion promoter kinda paint (sell them at autozone) to help it stick to the plastic flexable surface. Just sand the stock paint down through the clear coat to get good adhesion.
