Yesterday morning at 5:30am on IH35 North leaving San Marcus I ate the center concrete median.
SUCKED
It was raining, and I'm not sure due to the damage after hitting the median, but I believe the 18wlr that passed me nicked my front end. After doing so I lost control and hydroplaned. Did my best 'James Bond' manuevers to bring it under control, but couldn't be stopped. Spun twice, and slammed into the wall on the driver's side. Bashed it up pretty good, and the left front wheel is 'pigeon toe'd' pretty bad.
Not totalled,,but my body-shop guy freak'd out as it's been in 3-4 times now. I walked away ok,,back is strained, but hey I get to take off work to get massages! Plus I got a load of Vicodine (sp?)!
Just wanted to vent,,thanks for listening.

Damn, seems like its a bad week for daks and other cars too. Well, im glad you wherent seriously hurt. Dont worry, it wont be too long till you're up and drivin the dak again.

Well, mine isn't wrecked, but I have a question about a leaking problem...I have water dripping from underneath my dashboard on the passenger side of the my 98 Dakoda, sometimes I see water dripping underneath the passenger side of the vehicle too. Any idea's....? It's not raining outside either.

Thanks everyone.... I've heard that Oct. is the worst month for teenage/20 something yr. old drivers,,,,in that more have wrecks this month than any other.
Think I'll take the bus for the next week......NAH!!! I've got a rental '03 CAVALIER to TRASH!!!!!
