Subject: blocks/breaks IP: Logged
Message: I lowered my truck 3 inches in the rear this weekend. Two days later I had a smashed break line. Apperantly the dual exhaust was banging on the break line everytime it hit a bump and it was smashed. I have read of many people lowering their trucks and have never read of this problem. Does the break line have to go on top of the axle or can it be routed a different way?

Message: I'm sure it was b/c of the dual exhaust setup. Mine was lowered 2/3 before I took delivery and have had no problems. Stock exhaust.

Message: I don't have stock exhaust though. I am running dual flowmasters.I don't know exactly where the pinch was. It should be fixed by tomorrow, but most likely the blocks will be taken off. I know if I take it back to the muffler shop and have new pipes angled, it's gonna cost me more money and that's just a hassle...
I'm angry
