Ok. I have been really wanting a 97' Dodge Dakota for a long time now. And now this dream of mine is suddenly becoming a closer reality. I have been looking around and finding some trucks, but my main debate running through my head is whether I should transform it into a power-house off-roading monster, or make it a slammed Dak with all the parts to go with it. Still debating, would like some comments. Thanks!

Not sure what comments you're looking for, but it's really totally up to you and what you like! It depends on if you plan on going off road or not.. Do you want speed and control... there are many different ways to go, but they're totally up to you and what you want to do!

That's the beauty of the Dakota, you can go either way with it and still have one hell of a truck. No one can really answer the questions you asked except yourself since you are the only one that knows what you want to do. Good luck, you won't be disappointed with the Dakota.

Thanks guys for your comments. I guess you can't really reply to it, but I was talking with some friends of mine tonight, all of which are truck owners, and they said that they can't wait for me to get back from boot camp, get my truck, so that we can all go 2-trackin through the woods! I made up my mind, its gonna be one sweet off-road monster! Peace!
