I have just ordered a 2003 Quad Cab 4x4 and
was wondering if anyone has fitted 15" wheels
on a 2003 with disc brakes on all the wheels. I
have a good set of 31x10.5 R15 winter tires
from my previous vehicle and I'm hoping I can
just get some 15" winter rims and fit them
onto the dakota.
Thanks in advance for any info on this.

I have a 2003 4x4 with 16x8 rims and the 265/70-16's tires. I just bought a set of AR baja rims (15x8) and I don't think they will fit. I tried to put the front right one on at 8:30 pm last night and it doesn't seem to go on all the way because of the brakes. I'm going to try again tomorrow after work when there is more day light, but I'm very confused on why they dont fit. AS far as I know Dakotas have been using 15x8 rims from 97 to 02. Do I need a wheel spacer or will 15" rims not work for a 2003.
any help will be useful.

daks changed the brakes in the 03 , they are bigger and can only run the 16 rims ........ specially the rear ................... it has discs ..............
