Subject: 1 quick question IP: Logged
Message: O.K. Tomorrow I'm doing my front brakes.
I've done a search and haven't been able to locate an answer.
I want to repack my front wheel bearings, but don't know what to torque it back to.
Does anyone have this information or a guestimate?
Its a 2000 4x4.
Thanks

Message: If you're refering to the bold that holds on your front (hub) bearings, the answer is finger tight, if that. If you "torque" it down, you'll burn up your bearings.

Message: 4x4 should have sealed front bearings, no way to repack em.
