A lot of the people on this board are talk about having removed a small rubber flap somewhere on their engine, and this helped them gain some power? Is this true? If so... where is this rubber flap exactly located?

if you're in front of the truck, looking at it with the hood open ... its just to the left of the radiator near the top. Removing it will allow some fresh air get to your air intake ... for best results, modify your air box to allow more air in or make your own air intake with a conical filter. Search the web for instructions on how to do it ... there's quite a few people out there with the 'how to' posted on their website.

hope that helps

I just e-mailed a guy about this last night. I've heard people cutting the push-pins off, well don't! it's kinda like a button on your shirt or jeans, just pull the flap down and loop the hole over the head of the pin. Takes 30 seconds.. if that, and you can always put it back on if needed
