Yall, i personally want to show a representative of DaimlerChrysler who sells BILLET FUEL DOORS and he can get as many fuel doors for anybody that wants them. AND the price is (drumroll) $99.95 each plus shipping and handling with insurance which is only an extra $10.00
He is a seller on ebay, which is where i got my fuel door from, with great reviews from the buyers and he can do anything for ya. He's a great seller who knows how to treat a customer.
His email is hotcars2@yahoo.com and his name is Perry. This is a tremendously great deal since these fuel doors average around $150 and up. I just wanted to show my appreciation to the seller, so have fun!

Tell him to drop the price a few more bucks. There's another guy selling billet fuel doors on eBay with a slightly better price. I'm a cheap bastard and every buck counts. =)

Correction it's not billet type it's a brushed chrome one. P/N 82207715 and it's listed at $69

I just bought one from the dealer. Very nice peice
it has a 3D Ram engraved on the inside cover.5 minute install 4 screws and perfect fit

Sure am glad I read this thread a couple days ago!!! Just picked up the only two fuel doors they had in stock from my local dealer, got'em for $55 each since I am a regular customer. Oh, and FYI, they are billet with a satin finish, not chrome. Glad I didn't buy them during the GB for almost $100 each when I wanted to, lol. Well, I am off to put'em on!!!!!!
Flowmaster cat back w/15 inch chrome tip, Volant Intake, Poweraid TB Spacer, Splitfire Plugs, full synthetic fluids

Got mine on and they look awesome, what a bargain I got:) Looks better on my silver Dak since it blends in more and on the Red Dak it kinda sticks out too much IMO. Gonna try it for a few weeks and if I still can't get used it, will just prep and paint it red to match the truck which will be more stealth but still have a different look.

Sorry SinCity, didn't mean to incorrectly inflate the GB pricing:) Do you now how does the AMP fuel door compares to the Mopar part? Wouldn't be suprised if AMP makes them for Mopar, lol.

I've seen both doors side by side. I have the AMP one on my R/T and my roommate has the Mopar one on his. On the Mopar one, the door itself is mor oval shaped and thicker witht he rams head molded into it. Other than that, they mount the exact same way and the outer ring looks the same except for the finich. The AMp door is brighter.

I'm somewhat surprised that Mopar came out with an alternative door. Many of Dodge's accessories like this are made by outside contractors then rebadged for sale. AMP Research is contracted to make a lot of parts for manufacturers like Dodge, Mercedes-Benz, and many others.
I haven't read any negative posts about the new doors so they sound like they made a good product... I haven't seen one in person to notice any quality differences. At least the price they came out with is very good ($59-69 from Mopar Parts Counters), the AMP Doors retailed for $145 but we got them for $60 through the group buy. Competition is almost always good for the consumer.
