I have a '99 CC and live up in the Odessa area right now . I've seen you're truck around 2 or 3 times - kinda stands out since there are not that many R/T's in the area.

Hey guys. Didnt know there were other dakers on this site in Gainesville. Thats cool. I think id be straight to get together sometime. I live off Archer and sw 37th in Campus Club Apts. Know where it is?
Tex, Id absolutely love to see your 318 swap. I have been gaining ifo on doing that to my 1990 Dak.
Any of you go to SFCC? If you saw a blue dak sunk in a damn ditch in theparking lot there, it was me. I was late for class. Saw a grassy spot between 2 cars ner the front of the lot, jumped in and before I knew it, my front in was in a damn culvort. My left rear tire was off the ground like 2 ft. I was sooo pissed at myself. I just got out and went to class. 2.5 hrs later, I get back, have my best friend pull my ass out with a 9k winch on his 85 Jeep scrambler. But that damn trucks suspensionjumped right back into place. I was shocked. But NE ways. Lets get together sometime and hang out. Later.

We should put something together. Just got a mail from a guy Eric who wanted me to slide down to Bradenton-he and a bunch of other Dak guys hang out at the track down there...maybe we can group up and go down sometime, or go up and hang with the Gainesville guys...hey Jon-send me a mail, maybe we can hook all this up. Road trip!!!!

well im not usually driving the dak as of right now. kinda going through the swap. my other ride is a 69 camaro. u prob have seen that one, its white with black stripes. anyways, just picked up a second 88 dak yesterday so i hope to go and get it sometime this week, that is if i can talk someone into driving me to stuart. :) haha. is there going to be a dak meet sometime? if my truck(s) are up and going yet, then ill just drive the camaro out :)

Tex, Id love to look around at that 318 install. Were do you live again? Maybe I could come out there sometime and see whats happening. Im no mechanice, but I can help out alittle. I am trying to do the same swap on my 90 dak. The expierence would be great. later.

sure man no prob, i can always use an extra set of hands. ive kinda switched gears (almost literally) on the dak project though. i think i wanna keep it a stick and not stab in that 904 i got. the new dak im getting this fri/sat. is a 3.9 2wd auto. that will be a good driver for now untill my small block is in my other one. :) drop me an email and ill yall my number so we all can meet up.
