Subject: R/T Wheels - Still looking to buy... IP: Logged
Message: I'm still in the market for a set of R/T wheels with OE Center caps and pretty good condition. I'm in Houston. Let me know if anyone has a lead or the rims.
I'll be selling my mint condition 2002 Style 16x8's with tons of tread left as well.

Message: They are $160 a pop. Total of $640 plus tax. I already checked that method. I think Dodge found out they were losing money on these or something and jacked up the price like any money hungry corporation does.

Message: $160 each, list price. The best price I found online was $112 each rim. You can get the chrome ones for under $200 each.

Message: Where did you find them for $112 online? Are those new? I'm guessing plain Center caps.

Message: Those are the genuine MOPAR accessory rims, from a dealer. Here's their website:

Tenafly Dodge in New Jersey. I don't have the part numbers for the rims handy but you can look those up on mopar.com

Message: Sweet! You rule Billy. Thanks for the cheap Cat too. Still trying to find a shady enough mechanic to get my exhaust done. Thanks again.

Message: You have to purchase the rims then they will let you know shipping. Got any idea on how much the shipping is? I think the going rate is $20 per wheel.

Message: Ok, well the site is a misprint, the comp does an automatic 30% drop, so the actual price per rim is more, but the shipping is only $8 per rim. So I'm guessing they sell them for $130 a rim or so.

Message: I just took the part number off the mopar site to a local dealer. The price listed on mopar was $160 a piece but the dealer sold them to me for $135 a piece after tax. Call around to some local dealerships and see what they can do for ya.
HUH? WHAT? I CANT HEAR YOU!
