I've checked sensor connections and for harness abrasion, nothing found.
What's next? Can you check sensor output with a
DVM on AC scale?
Jim.

To answer your question about the sensor output yes you can read it with a DVM on A/C scale.
But you must have the Tech Manual to see what the min reading and the max reading is at sertain Temps.
Also just for info if your wires coming from the wheel speed sensors going to the ABS Computer are NEAR ANY "Spark-Plug Wires, ALT-Wires, or any wires that put out High-Voltage then it will cause your ABS light to come on too.
I have had experance with this one and it stumped me for 2 day's on a Chevy Sedan with 4 Wheel ABS.

trouble shoot mode when I didn't have any valid codes.

Message: More than likely you have a bad rear speed sensor. It's located in the top of the differential, and is very easy to change. About $35 from the dealer. VERY, VERY common problem.

Message: Yes I have also heard of the rear speed sensor going bad on alot of Dakotas. That is also a problem worth looking into.
