OEM 3.92 ring & pinion for a 9.25, very good condition, will throw in a Randy's Ring & Pinion basic install kit, and a new set of MP ring gear bolts. $100 for everything, buyer pays shipping. I take Paypal.

I have the 3.55 lsd will any 3.92's from a dakota work with my lsd or do I need a 3.92 lsd? I dont want to lose the lsd functions....

You could use these. The LSD will operate with any set of gears that's designed to fit that differential. No problem.

How many miles on the gears and what year truck are they out of? Also anyone ever have their gears changed know how much an install would cost at a mechanics shop? roughly i mean...and no there is no way i am doing this myself...thanks just checking some stuff before i buy,

CW seeing that you already have 3.92 gears, I don't suppose you would let me get them would ya.
Just thought I'd ask.
If not were can I get a decent priced setup.
Oh and I have the posi-trac rear, would that make a difference.
Z-Tube, R/T Rims, SSB Rear Disc Conversion, Alpine Head-Unit, Infinity Kappa Speakers, SilverStar Headlights, HO Cams & Intake installed.

Sweet, nice to see there are buyers willing for 2002 3.92s. Makes me wanna switch out my 8800 mile old gears. I've been gentle to them -- specially in winter -- too!

I bought them for a different truck. I was going to buy a new set until I saw the price of these and couldn't pass them up. May be they won't work in a older truck and I will have to sell them. I am sure they will work though.

They'll work on any 9.25 differential. '84 or '85 and up 9.25's use different lsd's and different axles but the gears will fit any 9.25 that has been made. Thanks, CW.

Yeah I looked that up today while at work. Godd thing to because I was worried for a minute when I saw the LSDs were different.
