Message: Did you do the tune up yourself? If not I would check to make sure they did everything. I get about 325 to the tank and I have a 22 gallon tank and I run 33's on a 3.9 mag.
I tune my truck (cap rotor and plugs gap) every 10k cant hurt. Oil and filter every 3k. Injectors cleaned and maintained with a spec additive every 3k miles.
That is how I maintain for best fuel economy and I get about 16 mile to the gallon.

Message: i usualy get aroud 320 to 330 per gal.. which has been the norm util the last month or so.. i also have the 22 gal tank so getting 260 per tank is really sub par and unaccepteable. i had the tune up done at dodge and spent like 235 bucks on it.

Message: Actually your MPG sounds 'normal' to me. I rairly get more than 290miles per tank.
But... in an effort to answer your question. What has the weather been like where you are? Cold weather can really make the MPG go down.
If you have been graphing your MPG over the years, (like me) you would see the pattern of lower MPG during the winter months.

Message: Pull your plugs to see if they are fouled...that will tell you if your poor mileage is being caused by a rich mixture. Also check your plug gaps while they are out. Clogged cats can cause poor mileage, but that shouldn't happen unless you've got really high miles. And some areas use oxygenated gas beginning in the fall...that causes my mpg to drop by about 2-3 mpg.
And your mileage also sounds fine to me...I used to own a 2WD 94 Dak 5 speed 3.9 and I'd get 16-17 city, 19-20 hwy. But you know your truck and normal mileage better than any of us, so what's normal to me might be low for you.

Message: Just a hunch, but after seeing you had a tune up done at the stealer, I'm guessing they *MAY* have flashed your PCM. If the dealer has info from DC that says the next time the vehicle is in for service, they need to flash the PCM, they'll do it as part of the routine service. I have heard on other forums that the dealers doing this have caused performance and mileage issues. Do you still have the slip the service writer did when you brought your truck in? Look at it and see what all they did. If I were you, I'd contact the dealer and let them know whats going on. Ask the service manager directly if the PCM was flashed as part of the tune up. FWIW, my 98 RC 3.9V6 w/5spd gets about 22 MPG on the highway running avg 70MPH on cruise.

Message: 99 3.9L 4x4 5sp I have been mapping my mileage for about a year. I get 18-19 in the colder months and sometimes as high as 21.5 in the summer. Most driving is around 65-70 and I ocassionally like to hear the exhaust roar at me. I'm in Southern MD and the gas is ot oxygenated here, but is if I go up one county. I have noticed a drop in mpg if I use the oxygenated stuff.

Message: I'm getting 290 to 320 a tank with a 25 gallon tank and I've got the 5.9L with 33s, that's roughly 12-13 mpg. Check everything you can to make sure it's up to spec. I was getting like 8-9 till I Installed a few mods like headers and a MSD ignition. well when I did this I discovered the problem was the plug wires some had gone bad after changing the wires I tried it without the MSD and was still getting like 10-11. so check everything and you might find something that has gone bad.

Message: Don't forget about your tire pressure, with it getting cooler out your tire pressure will drop. Mine were all down about 10 psi, I put air in them and now I have 2-3 mpg increase

Message: these are estimates but you get the idea
3.9 V6, reg cab, 2 whl dr, 5 spd, no mods = 22 mpg...
CC deduct 2 mpg, QC deduct 3 mpg, auto deduct 2 mpg, 4X4 deduct 2 mpg, V8 deduct 2 mpg - driving style and mods are variable.
