Subject: Water in Cab IP: Logged
Message: Well, I have a 2001 CC and ever since I bought the car I had a water leak that collected water on the pass side floor board.
Yesterday I had it in for service and the tech says it was the AC draining into the car....replaced a hose or something...I know there is quite a few guys having this problem...just thought Id let you know...Well see if this turns out to be the prob...I still have my suspicions that it is a rain/weatherstripping prob but we will see

Message: It`s a VERY common problem , and yes it`s your A/C (non) drain tube...or lack thereof. My `02 had the same problem , and I found it by accident. I did a bunch of research (mostly here) and talked to a tech I know at the local dealer , and fixed it myself.
