Subject: Installation HELP PLEASE... IP: Logged
Message: i have a 1998 2WD V6 Club Cab. I plan on purchasing a 3-inch body lift so i can get 32-inch BFG A/Ts on the stock rims. First off, can the 32s fit on the stock rims w/ a 3 inch body lift? and second, about how much will all of this cost me, including installation? Thanks for any replies.

There is some minor re-fab required with the automatics and the 3" body lift (shifter linkage) but the installation itself is easy. Make sure you install the steering column adapter as well.
Cost...If I remember right, the 3" kit was around $140 for the Gen-III Dakota's. Take a Saturday to install it...take your time and make sure that no cables or brake lines are stretched because of the body lift. Also check inside the engine compartment for any changes from the body lift...the engine will sit lower after you raise the body.

Message: thanks Bernd...i wasnt planning on installing the kit myself. Im gonna take it to my local off-road shop and have then put the lift on and the 32son my stock rims. I was asking if that is even possible and if so, how much would it all cost me plus the cost of installation.?

It's possible. Just check the frame and inner fenders for running (may have to trim the plastic on the inner fender...or may not...check it).
On the cost...I had no idea for that.
