Folks,
I've seen some Dakotas around with 3-piece bug shield. The center piece has a bulge that matches the hood line. Where can I get one like that and how much does it cost?
I guess I should also ask . . . do bug shields work?

Steve-I had a bug shield from dodge dealer ,it had bulge to match hood,but I had to remove it.On certain windy days it would make a terrible vibrating noise(ONLY AT 60-70 MPH).I tried to fix it with rubber washers but it did not help.

Whatever you do, do not get the bugflector 3 piece kit.. i have been though 2 of them. they stick on the hood and both sets the adhesive started to seperate from the shield.. i replaced it with a lund unit , which sticks under the grille, (more protection) and have not had a problem since......
