Subject: New TPS IP: Logged
Message: Chrysler has a new TPS which has rid of the potentiometer and now uses two hall effect devices. It is a direct replacement for the old style TPS, it uses a 5V ref. and produces the same signal. It is on the 3.7L and 4.7L engines for sure right now and it will be used across the board soon.

Message: OK You say it uses a .5 VDC reference, but can it be adjusted to give the optimal voltage for the Magnum engine? I checked the voltage on my old style TPS and it was .613 VDC. I drilled out the brass inserts in my TPS and adjusted it to .745 VDC and gained a fair amount of throttle response.
