Message: getting mine fixed tomarrow
I got a 99 4X4
dodge wanted $375 plus parts
local trans shop $95 plus better aftermarket part
and $70 for a fluid and filter change - I'm due...
note local trans shop wanted to use universal fluid - I taking ATF+3 to them and they're taking $20 off the fluid change.

Message: my total was $153 for the seal and trans tune up.
The down side, I was checking their work and one transfer case nut was loose and one was missing. Top ones of course. They were real sorry. I ended up fixing it. Runs great. Moral of the story is ( lol ) check your nuts.
