Message: Congrats.
I ordered my 02 to, back in November of 01 and got it exactly 4 weeks later. I drove it home with the plastic on the seats and everything else. I told the dealer not to remove it like every week I called. It was sweet, now I can't wait for them to put a hemi in one.

Message: Congrats djaj! I had to wait just a week for my truck to get from a dealer in Michigan down to Ohio (it was over the 4th of July 2001 holiday, thus the week) and I didn't think I was going to make it I was so excited. Have fun with it!

Message: I picked up my truck last night...all I can say is "WOW!!!!"
The 4.7L kicks butt! The 5-speed is smooth. The wheels and tires are beefy. The exhaust is throaty. The QC has tons of room. The fog lights are great. The 2-tone paint looks great. The Infinity sound system rocks.
I even had the pleasure of taking my first victim this morning on my way to work. A Focus (I know...it's only a Focus) pulled up to the light. He had racing stickers on the windshield but maybe they were only for looks. Anyway, I rev'd the engine a little and got his attention. It was close for the first 5 feet. I turned the tires when I shifted into 2nd and continued to widen the gap. The next light he chose to ignore me and not put insult to injury.
Thanks to everyone here for your information, tips, thoughts, insight and advice!!

Message: Neato, it's my truck, but in QuadCab! Looking at how much fun I have with my truck, you'll love yours!
Weird, first night home from Kellog, ID with my truck a Ford Focus raced me too, but he started it. He didn't do so hot either. It wasn't an SVT though, just a normal hatchback thingy.
You know, what that truck would really like now is some Zaino! Patriot Blue needs its Zaino.

Message: I found my original message and thought I would provide an update now that my truck is almost 2yrs old.
It is as good today as when I bought it!! I turn into a "16yr old in my parents hotrod" everytime I'm in the driver's seat! It's been rock solid mechanically, good gas mileage, and it's still the best vehicle I have every driven/owned. I love it more and more each day!!
The only complaint is that the parking brake release handle has broken three times. I've got a 5-speed so I use the parking brake ALL the time...must be an uncommon problem due to the number of automatics on the road. It's covered on warranty so not a serious complaint.

Message: I bought mine 6 months before you.
Still happy too!
I love my baby, just wish I has waited for those rear discs.
I have a manual also and have not had a prob with the parking brake release. Where is it breaking?
handle? cable?
let me know so I can watch for it.
thanks.
