 Subject: STOCK AIR BOX REMOVAL

Cant remove the darn air box, there is this weird nut on the inside of the box that i cant get loose, any ideas anyone?

Just pull up hard it's a press on screw. Be sure the one next to the fender is off.

Thats correct. Remove the 10mm nut on the top of the box, then just pull straight up really hard. The nut in the box and on the front of the box are plastic press-on nuts that push over a stud in the body.

Just use a large flat head screwdriver or.. I used a butter
knife to pry it off.
