Subject: Sug. on replacing stock tires? IP: Logged
Message: Does any one have any suggestions on replacing stock tires? I currently have the stock Goodyear 255/65R/16's. My tread is running low, and winter is on the horizon. I would like something that has a little more traction in the wet/snow, but also has good handling charateristics, any thoughts???
Thanks

Message: Michelin makes a nice tire. Look for one with a good amount of sips in it(tiny groves cut into the tread blocks). If you look a full winter tire they have a ton of them, but a good all season with fair amount of sips will do fine. A couple sand bags in the bed 100-200lbs will do wonders.
