15 minutes is about all it takes. It is almost easier than changine the plugs.

Depending on how old the engine is you may want to get a new TB gasket in case you accidently break the one you have. THey are reusable to a point. Really the hardest part about it is figuring how the linkage disconnects. It's really quite simple once you figure it out.
