Subject: ? for computer techs IP: Logged
Message: I just got my t3 hooked up, and I figured what the hell, im gonna download a movie, I dlded triple x (vin diesel) It's an avi, and no mater every time i open it, it downloads the same codec and says "A codec was downloaded to play this file, but it did not work" does anyone know how to get this to play? Thanks in advance!

Message: A t3??? please tell me this is at buisness, thats a HUGE amount of bandwidth (and cost)!!!
Anyway, often you must download the divx codec, goto divx.com for the codec. Most large .avi movies are encoded w/ divx.

Message: To add to what Xphile1999 said, I also beleive that the Divx codecs are not backwards compatible. Just getting the newest one doesn't mean you can play anything, it has the be the same one that the movie was encoded with, even if its an older codec.
I think.
T3's rule.I get 5mb/sec download on a regular basis here at work.
