 Subject: TCM Flash???

I took my truck to the dealer for some warranty work and when I got it back I noticed that there was a sticker on my engine compartment saying that I got a TCM flash. The dealer couldn't tell me what it was, except for "an upgrade in software".
I have a ASE Chip and I was wondering if this flash ruined my chip. Thanks.

TCM is the Transmission Control Module, Shouldn't have anything to do with the PCM.

how do you like the ASE chip?
did it give you the ability to light the tires or does the torque management still prevent that?

Thanks for the comments. I have a 2001 4.7 liter Dak which is an automatic.
I like the ASE chip. However I have an AWD dak so I can never lite the tires. I did notice a difference in the shift points and an increase in power. The best part is that it's internal.
