Yup I'm 39. But very immature and very hung over. Weird thing In my stupor I drempt that this patient, that I had worked really hard for, died. I get to the hospital and she coded last night.
First patient of mine that died. (Aside from those that were on hold to the angel of death). I pushed hard for her to have this procedure that for her was litterally a last chance-her liver was almost dead. She bled out, coded, and is brain dead.

That's awful to hear Dr. Q. My aunt is a doctor and has had the same thing happen to her. She says that none of them are easy, but you can't get hung on the one's you didn't save, you have to focus on the one's you do.

Yup her heart stopped at 11:55. I talked to the doc I had talked into the procedure and from what I hear she was kicking and squirming with a foot long needle in her liver demanded it be taken out. But he did have some words of wisdom-"The only way to prevent these things is not to treat sick people."
