Subject: Emissions in Connecticut??

Hey, I was just thinkin today, I looked at my emissions sticker and it was up about a week ago, but they closed all of the testing stations in CT a couple month's ago. Anyone know what the deal is with a temp sticker or something until they re-open? I coulda sworn I remember them saying they would be sending out a temp sticker when you were do, but, I've yet to see one. Just curious if anyone know's what's goin on, since you can't get through to a live person at the DMV over the phone anymore. Thanks!

The program is supposed to resume by March, 2003. Instead of the stations they have now, supposedly local shops are going to be able to do testing. All OBD-II vehicle will be tested by reading the PCM. Other vehicles will do the existing test (sniffer test on the dyno). Here's some more info:

i know they changed the set up but that site explanins when i have to go back...not for a few years.
