Hey guys,
Have any of you encountered melting of wires in your truck. The major wiring harness that goes into the steering column and through the interior of the truck is damaged. The main connector at the steering wheel has melted, things barely work, still driveable enough to get to work but I have to deal with the melting smell. The dealer tells me the wirering harness cost $1300.00 canadian to replace plus labour. Has anyone else come accross this problem. let me know. And is there a recall that you may know of. Thanks.
