Subject: What Size is my Stock Tires? P215/15 R15 IP: Logged
Message: hey i was just wondering what my stock tire size is, on the sidewall it reads : P215/ 75 R 15. This is for my 2000 2wd CC V6. I will be getting a body and suspension lift. I will also be getting some 33s and wanted to know how much 33in tires will raise my truck. can anyone help? thanks.

Message: Yes that is the right size. I have a 4x4 and my tire size is 31x10.5x15. They used a slightly bigger tire on the 4x4. Good luck with your lift.

Message: oh i probably wrote my question wrong. i ment to say what size are those tires, like in inches.

Message: for any tire:
215 (treadwidth in mm)/25.4 (mm/inch) X 0.75 (aspect ratio) X 2 (sidewalls) + 15 (rim diameter)=approximate tire diameter

Message: Your stock tires are 27.7 inches high. Go to www.dakota-truck.net, they have a tire calculator that you can compare different tires and the effects they have on gearing, speedo, etc.
