Need some help on wheels...
I'd like to put a set of Weld Racing Mountain
Crushers on my `01 Dakota 4x4 Sport. It has
no additional lift and the 'off-road package' 16"
wheels with the stock P265/70R16 tires on it.
Questions:
1. Weld only makes the Mountain Crusher with
a 6 x 4 1/2 bolt pattern in the 15 wheel with 4
5/8 backspacing. Can I use this wheel without
interfering with the brake caliper or anything
else?
2. If I can use this wheel, I'm thinking that a
31-10.50/15 tire would be the correct
replacement for the stock metric tire. Does
this sound right?
Thanks in advance for any help. The local tire
guy says that if he orders the wheels and they
don't fit, he won't take them back, so I want to
be pretty sure before I make the commitment.
