Message: We looked into the fairgrounds today , and they have to get back to us. Everything is good, but we need to get insurance for one day. We gotta have a special events insurance pollicy for one day,and we are waiting to see how much thats gonna be. Other than that its only 1$ per car.
Also , I talked to a custom window tint man , and he wants to come. I have seen some of his work , and its is just AWSOME!!!
Howdy and I are still lookin for other places to have it , so this is by no means the final say. There are a few other places to look into , Bob Boyed Dodge is one , but they may try to open it up to ALL Mopar , and the hole point of this is to be Dakota oriented (and Durango)so we will have to see.
You guys think the custom window tint thing is a good idea? I'm gonna go ahead and have mine done in about 3 weeks , and will post pics so you can see his work. Let me know!!

Message: I think the window tint sounds like a good idea and maybe try to get a stereo shop there or a custom body shop for hoods and such.Another idea is to have a graphics shop there so people could see there work and maybe design there own decals. Acutally the ideas are endless there is so much we could do.Those are just some suggestions and yes we could get a paint company there for anybody who wants to go darker than me!!! Good one BTOsteel21!!! ;-)

Message: Sounds cool Ken, I was thinking about trying to make the last one but I'm about 500 miles away. When I found out I had to deliver in MA at 6AM on that following Monday that plan was dead in the water.

Message: John, I know this is a little off the topic, but I noticed you have the Mopar mud flaps. I just added them all the way around on my truck. Have you noticed them chewing up your fender flares? Some have told me that the gravel and stones of the road kick up more and chew up the undersides of the flares? What do you think?

Message: Yes, Bill I do have them and I just went out and took a good hard look at them and I don't see any evidence of that happening. I remembered reading that in a post and kept forgetting to check them. When I originally installed them I made sure they were as tight as possible following the contours of the flares and I think I might have put in a few extra screws also. But then again I don't do any heavy off-roading with the truck so that can have something to do with it also.

Message: Thanks for looking at yours John. I have had mine on for a week or two now and like you haven't noticed any difference. Did you paint yours to match the gloss of your paint or just keep them stock? I looked into painting them, but if I wanted to do it right and make up some paint with a plastic flexing additive it was going to cost 50-60 bucks!
Sorry we are off topic Howdy and Ken!!!

Message: Didn't paint 'em, like you said not cost effective, and I think they would probably still chip anyway.
