Message: Anyone out there ever have problems wiring a 4 wire flat plug to a boat trailer?Didn't look like it would be hard,but am having problems.Did it like it said,including hooking white ground to truck and to trailer frame.Older trailer lights each had a red and brown wire coming from them.First time I tried it,lights seem to work ok,but I stepped on brakes,all trailer lights went out.I have a 93 Dakota. Would appreciate any help.
