Well, um, there's a lot of bolts on the rear end of the truck. There's
bolts that hold the ring gear to the differential carrier
bolts that hold the shocks to the axles
bolts that hold the springs to the frame
bolts that hold the differential housing cover on
bolts that hold the saddles that hold the differential carrier in the housing
bolts that hold the wheels on the brake drums
bolts that hold the leafr springs to the axle tubes
bolts......
which ones need to be re-torqued?

I'll have to look them up in the Factory Service Manual.
BTW, how in the hell does the DEALER service dept "not know?" Did you tell them that you need the torque specs on those two items?
