I jsut ordered redline MTL and gear lube. How much of the 4 oz of friction modifier should I put into my 9.25" rear end?

I am looking for better shifting and a quieter rear end.

If you're talking about the small, yellow bottle...one is fine.

If you use the proper REDLINE product in your LSD axle, there is no need to add the friction modifier. (It is allready in there)

I eMailed REDLINE inquiring what to use in my Dak and the answers came back as;

Gear unit = REDLINE product
NV3500 = MTL
NV231 = D4ATF
9.25" axle = 75W90
C205F axle = 75W90

I can tell you that the shifting is improved and my LSD rear axle has no 'studdering' problems (indicates that the included additive is sufficent)
