If I'm not mistaken, dont the Dakota and Durango share the same bumper? I have a 2001 Dak with grill inserts for the upper part but cant find any for the bumper. I stumbled across this site:

In theory, wont that work with a Dak bumper?

everything from the doors forward will be interchangeable from a dak to a durnago. seats, dash, grill, hood, engine, ect

What I would love is for someone with a Deep Amythest colored Durango want to swap for my black bumper on my Dakota. I don't know why Durango's come with their bumpers painted the same color as the vehicle, when Dakotas have a black bumper. I would love to swap someone.

Im waiting until I get my "For staying in this COLD HELL and calling yourself an ALASKAN" check I get each year to get a new bumper. I had an accident and had a new bumper put on before it was painted (primed) and now when it finally did get painted, there are marks from where rocks scraped it. Looks pretty bad and also, I want a bumper not many have =)
