 Subject: Trying to get stock deck out

I'm trying to get the stock deck outta my 97 Reg cab. Does anyone know how the dash panelling is connected. The bottom half under the steering column has three screws on the bottom but is connected somehow (plastic clips I imagine) to the top half (around the speedo). I don't want to break any of these clips so if anyone has done this let me know how to go about it. Thanks

your making it to hard!! IN the 97 to like i dont know. But the black thing that is around the sterio, and all comes off. Just pull hard but slow. It comes off prity easy. then that is it, the screws will be shown.
