while parked in the dorm parking lot, somebody thought it would be fun to pump a few pieces of lead, four to be exact, into the tailgate of my dak. some people just aren't fit to be on the face of the earth...
any suggestions on what to do with this? i told the college security who will relay it to the police and we filled out a police report and all that stuff but you all know as well as i do that nothing will be done about it. do you think insurance will pay to get it fixed or what?
any info will be appreciated.

Wow Im sorry to hear about that. I am attending college and am horified that something may happen to my baby (99 4x4 Dak). I would guess that depending on how much of a deductible you have, it may be cheaper to fix it at your own cost. Depending on how bad it is, it could be patched and repainted or it may be best to just replace the tailgate. Either way it sucks. Sorry again.

i had thought it would be possible to patch and repaint it but it just aggrivates the mess outta me that some idiot is causing me to lose money and time. i wish this college would pay for it since the security here sucks. they ahve a bunch of temps until they can find some permanent ones or some crap like that.
seeing as how this is my first time dealing with vehicle damage, what do i do? at the moment i'm at my insurance comanies website trying to see what's going down there.
another thing that worries me is that somebody up here has a gun. this isn't the first time that some vehicles have been shot up, a few weeks ago one of the guys that goes here and plays in a band with me had his windows shot out and another vehicle had the windows shot out that same day. like i said, i wish we could get some decent security.
