I have a '00 CC 4.7L 5spd. I get anywhere from 14 to 22mpg depending on where and how I'm driving. These trucks (especially the 2wd 5spd CC's and RC's) get the same or better than other V6's on the market. So for a V8 14 to 22 isn't bad at all.
'00 4.7L 5spd 2wd CC LSD 3.92's. 360airintakez, 68mm Fastman TB, 180t-stat, 3923's.
carsound cat, muffler, and hurst shifter on the way.

I also have a 2000 4.7 CC 2wd 5-speed and average about 16.4ish... I drive hard.. driving like an average driver I have seen up to 18.5-19.0 on one full tank (can't behave longer than that)...

Driving conservatively is pretty hard with these trucks. Just when I start being good about it I find myself puching it just to hear my engine roar.
