everyone should check out this months issue of Sport Truck Mag. i recieved it today and to my amazement it has an entire dodge section!! there are 3 articles... first is 5 pages on this years dakota r/t meet in arizona, some of the dakotas i recognize from this site by the way, second is some bolt on performance products for dakotas, and the third is on a new dodge ram. only thing that confused me was that they dynoed a 00 R/T and said it only had 210 hp, i always thought it had more. oh well. hopefully the magazines will start to realize they need more dodge coverage, and 3 articles in an issue wont be a big deal in the future.
also cruznlo said awhile back that his dak would be in sport truck mag's december issue which is next month's. maybe sport truck is starting to come around and not be all chevy/gmc

yea ive noticed. this is about my 7th issue and is only the second w/ an article on a dakota. i will NOT renew my subscription im just trying to let everyone know to look for THIS months and maybe pick it up. and cruznlo's dak should be in next months issue also.

I was thinking I may not renew my ST subscription until this issue. Maybe they will start more Dodge coverage......
I would have liked to have seen a little more detail of the Dakota Meet including track times, specific mods, etc.
The intake, CPU modification and exhaust only produced 16 HP???
I was suprised to see that Hypertech has a programmer for the 5.9 CPU. When did they come out with this? I thought it strange that the Hypertech ad in the same Sport Truck magazine did not even mention a model for Dodge applications.

maybe the dakota meet wasnt too detailed but there were 5 pages of pics on it. and i forgot to mention that in this issue their are 3 letters concerning dodge and another article on the new cummins dakota. this is the most dodge ive seen in any issue so far.
i expected those mods would produce a lot more than 16 hp

IN THE LETTERS SECTION A GUY ASKS FOR HELP IN POWER UPGRADES FOR HIS 4.7. THEY END UP BY TELLING HIM THAT TRADERS SAY THEIR CUSTOMERS HAVE HAD GOOD LUCK WITH THE NEW STAGE ONE POWER MODUALS FROM JET. ALL I SEEN POSTED ON THIS SITE IS VERY BAD REVIEWS ON JET MODUALS. IS THIS SOMETHING BRAND NEW? OR IS SPORT TRUCK MAG JUST TAKING THE WORD OF TRADERS WITHOUT CHECKING IT OUT FIRST. OF COURSE TRADERS IS GOING TO SAY THIS THEY WANT TO SELL JET MODUALS.

As far as Dodge info, Sport Truck Mag is full of more Dodge misinformation than good information. A few months back they had a Dakota with a 4.7 and said that the guy had bought it because it was easier to mod than the 5.9!!??
It's been downhill ever since they got bought out and I will not be renewing my subscription either.

Somebody told me that there's a pic of my engine on page 100. Is there any sort of description or caption to it? Or is it just a bunch of pictures. My intercooler has a CBE Crude But Effective racing equipment sticker on it. ;>)

from JBM Sport Truck accessories. www.sporttrucking.com the website sux but call them and they should set you up. its right down the street from my house so i dont know how they work online
