Message: I took off my stock muffler and replaced it with a Dynomax Super Turbo. I had forgotten to buy new clamps before I put it on. So I had to drive to Pepboys with no muffler, and it sounded like a bumble bee on steroids. I would not recommend driving it with out a muffler. It sounds much better with the dynomax! Performance is a lot better too.

Message: Hahahahaa, that's so funny, a bumblebee on steroids. I have a friend who punched holes in his 94 or 95 ranger and i dunno if it made a sound differece or not. I thought it was stupid to do so.

Message: also, how exactly would i go about making a custom cold air intake, it has the stock throttle body. If you have done it before on the old truck too, please post pics or something, let me know. Thanks!

Message: Andy, I got all my stuff from Lowe's for the cold air intake. All except the K&N filter. Its not that hard actually, a little PVC pipe and some rubber pipe fittings. I used the 3" stuff, and the old clamps from the stock air box. I used a high temp rtv to seal the pipes and some pvc cement. I will try to get some pics for you, but I dont have a dig cam. For a little added power I put in 7.5mm plug wires and the Dynomax muffler. It all helps out.
