Message: a long while back my truck would just not start(everything else worked lights radio etc. just wouldn't turn over )relay was clicking I posted on hear got some good suggestions, changed relay and had starter rebuilt. Thought I had it solved when after I washed it it did the same thing. Thought water was getting in somewhere. Well know I know it wasn't any of those things cause it just happened again haven't washed my truck and no rain for days. I just went to start my tuck and all i got was click (radio and everything else worked) I thought It might be the wires near the ignition control modual went and pushed them in tighter, and nothing, after about 4 tries of turniing the ignition finally started but now my radio station presets were erased?

Message: I had a similar problom. I changed starters and thought I had it fixed till it happened again. It ended up that one of the leads that goes directly from the battery was a little loose. Apparently that lead went to the starter with a second one going from the switch to the solinoid. THe solinoid had power, but the motor it's self didn't. Since you say the radio presets were lost it sounds like a loose battery connection somewhere.

Message: Check your wiring underneath, coming out of and beside the power distribution center. There is a splice there that is suseptable to corrosion will cause a no start especialy if it gets wet. You will have to peel back the tape nad wire loom to inspect it proporly.
