Message: Just thought of another question. I am wanting to put about 10-11 lbs. of boost to the engine. Is this too much with the Vortech kit or does it have sufficient fuel and other neccessities? Will any of the other mods cause me to lose boost? if so...does that mean that if I want 10lbs...I should buy 12lbs. pullie...or something like that? I am wanting to put all of this on right after I break in the engine, screw warranties!!! About how long do I have to drive it before the engine is considered broke in?

Message: Austin- word of advice. If you are going to run that much boost, you HAVE to replace the headgaskets to a better, higher compression gasket. Or you will be blowing them left and right.

Message: For what it's worth...Aftermarket leather is cheaper and better than the OEM stuff. Plus then you can pick your color and texture.

Message: Where are you getting the Innovations cover for $600?? I'm sure a lot of people woudl really like to know since normal pricing on them is upwards of $800+. If you are going to lower it, and since it seems you have money to spend, don't go cheap on lowering. Get the best and buy Hotchkis suspension. Will run you about ~$1100, but is definitly worth it. I've heard the Autometer air/fuel guage is pretty worhtless except as a light show. Not accurate enough to use for tuning or safety reasons. On the exhaust, it's been shown a single exhaust can be better than true duals. Especially on these trucks where you would have to run both pipes down the passenger side anyways. Might as well go single 3 or 3.5" and if you want dual exits, get a single in dual out muffler(anything but flowmaster please) The Vortech SC shoudl be able to supply enough fuel with it's suppemental injectors, but I woudl definitly pull timing out.

Message: I was just taking a guess at the price of the tonneau...didn't know how much they really were. I don't have the money to spend. Just about 7k...and that's pushing it...so....probably no Hotchkis, don't really think I need it anyway

Message: From the reports I've heard of most lowering kits on the market, most people don't like the ride. Only lowering kit where a majority of the people don't complain about the ride or handling is the Hotchkis. If you are going to lower your R/T I wouldnt use anything else unless you can custom fab your own.
