Subject: Just drove the new Hemi IP: Logged
Message: I just drove the new 5.7L Hemi on Friday in the 2500. Damn what a nice ride. I can't wait until it gets put in the 1500 and hopefully at some point in the Dak.
Kick A$$!!

Message: I know that this still won't be enough of what you are wanting, but compared to the 4.7L in my Dak, I would have to say that in the 2500 the Hemi would give me a run for my money. The biggest thing that I noticed is that when you touch the gas, you are off. In the 4.7L you don't 'really' feel anything until around 3000 RPM, in the Hemi it is immediate. You should be able to start finding the Hemi in the 2500/3500's at your local dealerships. Rumor has it that it will start showing up in the 1500's around late spring or early summer. I can't tell you a lot more at this point cause I haven't been able to drive it much more than about a mile. My manager was keeping pretty tight wraps on it for right now. This week I will see if I can take it out longer. It doesn't take much though to break the tires loose. I will see if I can get some pics too.
Later,
Jason
