You could do a cold air at the same time. Get a 50mm TB it does help out.

I know i might seem dumb about it but I dont really know much about the TB. So 50mm is better the 70mm. The cold air and the exhaust is in the works. Still debating airaid or K&N. Will i notice a big difference with it..

The 50mm is what you want for the 5.2 engine. The 70mm is for the 4.7. The TB on the 5.2 has two butterflies while the 4.7 only has one big butterfly.

You can get them pretty cheap on eBay as well. Sam on this board was selling a bunch of them. He could hook you up as well.

Well-- Here's the scoop-- F&B 50mm, works great on your 5.2L... I do work for F&B, and sell their TBs-- plus I've tested, used/abused them... Not some huge manufacture, not a copy of someone elses product. Purely an original, in house designed/built/tested product. I am revamping my website with pictures of each TB, and an explaination of what applications it can be used for.

Currently, if you want a picture of what a 55x52 looks like-- email me and I can send it to you. The 55x52 is for 408 stroker motor applications, and crazy people with very hyped up 360s...

I also sell stock, V8 throttle bodies, for people who want to drop only a few bones, and get their V6 moving a little faster.

Update on the 4.7, 72mm w/ 4" Z-tube... nearly 14 hp & 10 ft. lbs. increase over stock setup... on a practically stock 5 spd, 2000 4.7. This was done yesterday-- I don't have the hardcopy, but was given the results from the BOSS this morning. Hardcopy to follow on my website.

If you got more questions, ask away--
