Message: I got this mysterious rattle in my right front end. I cant figure out what it is. Its somewhat of a "tinking" sound. I've been attempting to find it for about 2 weeks now, and i cant!
Any of you guys have any ideas of it?

Message: It is a shot in the dark but my anti-rattle clip fell off a few months ago. It made a "tinking" sound as it dangled and hit the inside of the rim. Fortunately for me it only made that noise for about 5 minutes before it fell off. It is visible through the rim and is mounted right on the front of the caliper. It is a piece of spring steel. Good luck.

Message: I had a rattle in the front end also--it turned out to be the clip on the inner brake pad broke (on both sides)and the pad rattled in its bracket. Don't bother to buy new pads, mine had plenty of meat left. Go to any parts store and get some anti-rattle goo and apply to the back of the inner pad. Problem solved. I think it's design flaw--both sides were broke

Message: OK, let me add this one to the list...let's see, I've got...
DAKOTA DESIGN FLAWS
ball joints
upper control arm bushings
auto transmissions
AC water leaking onto passenger side floorboard
caliper brake pad clips
Am I missing some? I thought that there were more than this...
