I have searched through some of your archives and noticed that you go round and round on this issue. My connection is really slow so I couldnt really go through them all. I have a 2000 SLT+ 4x4 - 4.7l. I use it on the farm and really need the traction that Swamper SSR's will give me. I figure if I am going to shell out for SSR's, I might as well go as big as possible.
I have two questions..
1.) How big can I go with stock height and stock rims?
2.) How big could I go with 3" body and stock rims?
Thanks for your help!

31X10.50s stock and 33X12.50s with a 3 in body lift. You might have to do some trimming of the lower valance on the front bumper and maybe a little bit of the plastic fender liner in the rear or the front wheel well ,do to the fact that those swampers have those big lugs on the sides.

Thanks for the reply.
What about 31x11.50 stock wheels, no lift?

I`ve heard of people running 32X11.50s stock , but those weren`t swampers , they were mud terrains or all terrains. I`d be worried about those big ol` swamper lugs catching the fenders.
My local tire guy let me test fit a few different sizes , the last few times I bought tires , to see just how big I could go before committing to a certain size tire...maybe you can find someone to do the same.Just a thought.

BTW , every time I did that , the biggest tire ended up fitting , so maybe you`ll get lucky.
