well... it all depends... can you do the work by yourself? If you can then go right ahead... I know how that 2.5 is so slow. But.... if I was you,... I would put the 4.7 in instead of the 5.2 because the 5.2 has worce gas milage, and it's heavier,.. and I don't think it has as much torque and hp.

i don't know much about the work it takes, but i am taking performace classes in college and hopefully i may be able to buy the parts cheaply (equals rebuilt) i think i need to get a better suspension,replace axle, replace tranny, and of course the engine... money wont really be an option but it will take time to get it. meaning i have no kids,wife,or other extremities.
