Subject: headlight problem? IP: Logged
Message: Is the following a electrical problem or is it suppose to be this way? If I turn the headlights off after turning the engine off they do not turn off! To get them off I must turn the headlight back on then off. then they will go off.

Message: It's called headlight delay and is normal. If you notice the parking lights and rear lights and interior lights go off when you turn the switch but the front two stay on for...I think... 30 seconds. All new daks do it.

Message: Turn the headlights off before you shut off the truck and they will not stay on... They only stay on for awhile if you turn the truck off first.
