Message: I found a product called Rubber Coat by Wurt. It restores like new - no silicone. It works on the door handles, weatherstrip, etc. Try it.

Message: cloknem , where do you get this stuff? Is it at auto shops? This is an old post, but I still have the same problem. Short of sanding them down this winter and painting them, I'm at my wits end!!
Thanks man

Message: I also tried the electric toothbrush on the door handles, and it works great. Use a little water on the brush and a minute or two of brushing and it's gone. I have to do this about every month or two, but it's pretty darn easy and cheap.

Message: It can be purchased at detail shops. I found a link for you.
http://www.dccarcare.com/wurthhome.html
or if you feel like price comparing
http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&lr=&ie=UTF-8&oe=UTF-8&q=wurth+rubber+care&spell=1
Wurth sells alot of detailing products. These are first class products. Check out the first link at DC Car Care for descriptions. No I don't have any affiliation, just lucky.
